Jennifa's Diary: Actress Release Covid19 Edition, Teaches Pupils Handwashing


Veteran Yoruba actress and producer of the popular Jennifa's Diary Funke Akindele has stepped up efforts to fight the dreaded coronavirus in Nigeria by airing an edition of the show where she taught pupils how to properly wash their hands using the antiseptic Dettol.

Recall that the actress was made a brand ambassador for the Dettol brand because of her popularity and celebrity status. She has also been appearing on the front page of the companies Facebook page.

Aside just fufilling her role as brand ambassador, the actress is passionately doing a social work through her social media handles to raise awareness on the coronavirus. Hand washing and social distancing appears to be the surest way to combat the spread of the infection that had killed thousands of people around the world.

For many years, Jennifa's Diary stood as one of the most watched television series by Nigerians and the actress is not relenting. She has also been involved in movie directing and producing because of her many years of experience in the industry.

The actress unlike many other celebrities admitted that she was never in a hurry to become famous like most upcoming celebrities who will stop at nothing to become famous. Today, Funke Akindele is looked up to as a model and mentor to many.

She also values her followers and fans that is why she is with them in this difficult times trying to educate everyone on the health importance of hand washing so that everyone can stand strong against the deadly coronavirus including celebrities.

There are fears that there might be a sudden rise in the number of infected people in the weeks a heard if drastic measures are not followed.
