Mavin Records expands to Mavins Global, as it secures a multi-million dollar investment

The fate of Mavins Records became a concern to fans after Reekado Banks left the label. But it appears Don Jazzy has secured a future for the label by securing a multi-million-dollar deal for the label.

The record label has expanded from Mavin Records to Mavin Global, as it seeks to expand across Africa and the world at large. About the deal, Jazzy said:
“Our mission is to grow Mavin Global into the music powerhouse of Africa,” and “By collaborating with artists, African creatives, local and international partners, we can become a globally recognized household name and the go-to platform for connecting African music with the world.”

The Managing Partner of Kupanda Holdings added saying:
“Between Don Jazzy’s legacy of defining the sound of modern Afrobeats and developing top African acts, Mavin Global has a unique advantage and chance to build a label that will accelerate bringing African popular music to the world. We’re impressed by the Mavin team’s experience and are pleased to partner with them in their next phase of growth.

Currently, Mavin Record has on the label Tiwa Savage, Dr. Sid, DNA, Ladipoe, Johnny Drille, Di’ja, Korede Bello, D’Prince and a solid team of managerial staff. With this expansion, Reekado Banks’ exit leaves no vacuum unfilled.
