Uncompleted storey building collapsed in Yenagoa

Uncompleted Three storey building under construction collapsed 1st of July 2018 Sunday evening along Baybridge road, Yenagoa, the Bayelsa state capital but no lives lost



According to report, The people leaving around the area and eye reporter blamed the Bayelsa state physical planning development board on what they described as lack of adequate responsibility in check- mating the use of substandard materials and unqualified personnel by property developers in the state.

For residents of Baybridge, Kpansia, Yenagoa, it was a bitter-sweet experience as the three storey building collapsed on Sunday evening with no lives lost.

On AITONLINE report The owner of the building was not found since 9 years ago. The man was identified as Francis Olede who claim to be the property owner of the building.
According to area report, The Incident has been under construction for nine years, the residents said despite reports to the relevant agency on the ongoing construction work, it fell on deaf ears.
